World Teachers’ Day is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and thank Canberra teachers for the important role they play across our city – inside our classrooms and out in the community. 

We are joining together to thank all Canberra teachers on World Teachers’ Day, Friday 29 October 2021.
 

This year we are also acknowledging that it’s 10 years since the ACT Teacher Quality Institute became part of the local education landscape.  This is a further opportunity to celebrate teaching as a profession – with elements of professional registration in the ACT developed by teachers, for teachers - with a deliberate focus on Quality.
